A Journey Through Movement, Breath & Feminine Wisdom

True yoga starts off the mat.”

This belief has guided me through my lifelong relationship with movement. I began my path as a ballet dancer and later as a fitness instructor, yet something in me always longed for a deeper connection, one that united body, mind, and spirit. Dance was my first love, but I was searching for movement that felt meaningful and whole.

My Path Into Yoga

I discovered yoga after years as a ballet dancer and fitness instructor, seeking something deeper that connected body, mind, and spirit. Dance has always been central to my practice.

I was fortunate to begin with the late Maestro Carlo Patrian, pioneer of yoga in Italy, where I qualified in Hatha Yoga Shivananda style and learned the Yoga Sutras, Pranayamas, Sanskrit Asana names, and a classical approach. My journey continued in India with scholars in Tamil Nadu and Himachal Pradesh, whose teachings shaped my practice, which I now call “Soul Yoga.”

Over the years, I explored many styles with renowned teachers including David Swenson, Shiva Rea, Rodney Yee, Ana Forrest, and Adil Paalkivala. I studied Ashtanga Primary Series in Mysore, Pregnancy Yoga with Lolly Stirk and Janet Balaskas, and learned natural childbirth fundamentals from Michel Odent. In 2013, I qualified with Kristin Campbell in Hot Yoga Tapasya, the style I teach today.

I also studied Vipassana Meditation with the late Master John Coleman, integrating Theravada Buddhist practices and philosophy into my classes.

My aim is to offer yoga accessible to all levels, allowing freedom of movement, peace of mind, lightness, and depth, helping students feel restored, entertained, and good about themselves.

My Path Into Feminine Wellness

I have always been passionate about female wellness and the true meaning of Feminine Essence. In 2020, I felt the urge to explore this further. Thanks to my yoga practice, I knew there was more to women’s health than the medical narrative suggested.

I discovered Sanya Hur Em, founder of Integrated Somatic Pelvic Health®, and began learning how the female pelvis and womb (or energetic uterus) play a central role in energy flow and overall wellness. This practice combines breathing, pelvic exercises, and guided meditations called “Dreamjourneys,” helping women release past traumas and resolve issues like back pain, menstrual difficulties, fertility challenges, and menopause symptoms.

After practicing this for a couple of years, I found Danzautera®, or Sacred Dance of the Womb, taught by Nuria Peguera, a former Sacred Flamenco dancer who spent 15 years in India studying Indian Dance and Tantra. Danzautera® uses movement, mudras, dance, and meditation to connect the uterus with the heart and brain, releasing subconscious memories and awakening the natural wisdom within each of us.

Why I Teach

My aim is to offer yoga accessible to all levels, allowing freedom of movement, peace of mind, lightness, and depth, helping students feel restored, entertained, and good about themselves.

“My purpose is to guide women back to the wisdom of their bodies, one breath, one movement, one moment of presence at a time.”
